Gavin Johnston joined Paul Lewandowski Professional Corporation as an associate in October 2017. He aids both Mr. Okada-Phillips and Mr. Lewandowski with research, drafting, and strategic decision making. He is a confident and thorough advocate that strives to achieve the best outcome for his clients, whether it is through trial or shrewd negotiation.

Prior to joining Paul Lewandowski Professional Corporation, Gavin articled at a full-service firm in Halifax. He played an integral role in a multi-million dollar collective bargaining for a large, Atlantic Canadian municipality. Gavin has an extensive and varied research background, having acted as a tax law research assistant while in law school and a labour relations researcher. He can efficiently and thoroughly assess a legal situation and also always well-equipped for trial.

Gavin brings considerable trial advocacy talent to bear, having already handled full trials and hearings. He also participated in several trial advocacy and moot courses in law school.
